About Me, Julie Lee
I'm no stranger to adversity. I understand that good
people go through some very difficult experiences. I understand that sometimes
good people under pressure make bad choices. Just because you are having a hard
time doesn't mean you are a bad person. I won't judge you.
Over the past 25 years I have worked extensively with
all types of abuse survivors, combat veterans and victims and witnesses of
violent crimes. I have worked with alcoholics and other addicts, individuals
suffering from depression, people with life threatening eating disorders,
couples trying to work out their problems, individuals trying to come to terms
with huge life changes, people facing death, clients with anger management
issues, and many, many more. All of these people have been my teachers, and I
have welcomed every lesson they taught me.
I believe that psychotherapy
is a very valuable tool for healing the mind and spirit. I believe that through
really listening to you and to your story, through hearing your truth, and by
using all the tools I have learned in over 25 years in practice, I can help you
move toward healing and wellness. I would enjoy the chance to work with you.
I received my degree from Ohio State University in the
early eighties. After receiving my license I practiced in a variety of settings
in Indiana, which was then my home. I eventually settled in private practice in
the city of Anderson. |
